Is ordering through Found safe?

Our absolute priority is to offer the safest service possible to our users and restaurants and we have taken a number of important actions to ensure our users have a safe experience. It’s also important to note that the European Food Safety Authority has said that there is “no evidence that food is a likely source or route of transmission of the virus”. We realise that this is a concerning period for everyone and want to assure you that safety is our priority during and beyond this unprecedented time.

How does contact-free Dine-In work?

Customers can choose ‘Eat-In while sitting at the table and the order will go directly into the kitchen. The restaurant staff will take the order from our system and deliver it straight to your table. Since all transactions are completed online, you do not have to wait for the bill if there were no adjustments to your table.

Are all the same restaurants available as usual?

All restaurants will operate in accordance with UK Government regulations. Found will encourage venues to keep us updated with their operating hours and closure, however, to avoid any mishaps please call the restaurant before booking to confirm they are open.

What will happen if I have an outstanding query or complaint?

Our support team is on hand to support our partners and users with any outstanding queries or complaints. We will try to address all queries within 24-48 hours.

What is Found?

Found Lifestyle uses proprietary technology to allow customers to search, order ahead & pay for Take-Out or Eat-In options. We are partnering with venues all around London that offer these services. The app allows users to skip the queue and plan their food journey in advance. Found allows partners to organize and welcome your venues footfall in the safest way as users get to plan their journeys and meals in advance. We have a unique partnership with Feeding Britain, one of the UK’s leading charities to provide a meal to someone in need for every order on Found. Hence our slogan “You buy a meal, We give a meal”

What is the story behind Found?

Born from the vision of creating a wayfinding system to allow users to save time, the co(found)ers refined Found into an order-ahead-and-pay solution for the often ignored Eat-In market. Their aim was to address the pain points of quick-service restaurants and their customers through our app, which will enable contactless ordering and payment at multiple venues via a single-sign-on. The purpose of Found is to bring back people into venues and digitise the ordering and payment process to save time and in ever so important in these times and to minimise physical contact points.

How does it work?

You can order either on the Found App, available on iOS and Android. Simply sign-up and you’ll find the greatest restaurants around you. Next, book a table, order ahead for Take-Out or at the table for a contact-free Eat-In experience. Once the restaurant receives your order, they’ll get to work and prepare your food by the time you arrive. Our contact-free payment helps skip the waiting time for the bill. If you have a go-to place, schedule your orders daily!

What kind of restaurants are listed on Found?

We aim to bring to you every venue that offers Take-Out and Eat-In from coffee chains to fine-dine to kebab shops!

What times can I order for?

All orders can be placed in accordance with venue operating hours.

Why doesn't Found accept cash?

We want to create a safer and quicker environment for our partners and users. Besides, we like to keep it contact-free and streamlined! Feel free to tip in cash.

Do I have to tip?

Tipping solely up to your discretion. You have the option of tipping in-app or direct cash in-store upon the completion of your order.

Is there a minimum order value?

Minimum order values depend on restaurant preferences. Should there be a minimum value, you’ll be notified in your cart.

How do I redeem a promo code?

If you have a promo code, you can redeem this in the app at checkout. In the app, go to your cart and add the code into the ‘Apply Promo’ field and click Apply. The promo code field is case-sensitive and please be aware of T&Cs in case your code doesn’t work

Do you charge the same prices as the restaurant does in the restaurant?

We always encourage restaurants to use the same prices online and in-store. If you find any discrepancies, please contact the restaurant directly.

Can I place orders in advance?

You can schedule table bookings weeks in advance. Coming soon will be the ability to schedule your Take-Out and Eat-In visits for specific times.

What if I want to cancel my order?

Once the restaurant has accepted an order, you will not be able to cancel it as they start preparing it. To cancel an order, reach out to the restaurant directly to confirm and cancel it.

What if something is wrong with my order?

We liaise with venues really well in order to deliver the best experience to your table or journey ahead from start to end. However, in the case that something goes wrong unexpectedly you can always reach out to the venue first to resolve and if you are not satisfied with the resolution, contact us from the profile section of the app and we will get back to you. You can also email us at support@foundlfestyle.com.

What if I’m late to pick up my order or table booking?

In the case of any delays to reach the venue, please try to proactively call ahead and let the staff know. Venues are only required to keep your Take-Out orders for 30 mins after being ready for collection. Table booking will likely be according to availability which the restaurant will let you know.

How do fees work on Found?

Users pay a small service fee which helps us give you 24/7 customer service, keep improving the app and enhancing your food experience by keeping it safer and quicker.

What if I have allergies?

If you have specific allergies and are concerned about any items on a menu, please check the add a note when completing your order in the cart or contact the restaurant directly prior to ordering and they will try to accommodate your requests to the best of their capacity.

When will you have restaurants in my area?

We are rapidly expanding and are hoping to partner with all venues. If you have any recommendations, we’re always hungry to hear and act on them! Drop us a note on support@foundlifestyle.com and preferably contact details should you have them.

Is there a Found app?

Absolutely! Found Lifestyle is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
